Gold Dredge Kampala 1 tonne per hour: The 1 Tonne/Hour Hybrid Gold Dredge That Does It All
From clay-bound gravel to high-bank shoveling—your 4-person operation just got a serious upgrade for only $2,200.
For too long, small-scale gold miners in Uganda and across East Africa have faced a frustrating choice: invest in a stationary sluice for digging, or buy a dredge for working in water. What if you didn’t have to choose?
Introducing the Kampala 2026-04 – a true hybrid system engineered for one simple goal: move 1 tonne of material per hour, whether you are dredging from a riverbed or shoveling dirt on a dry bank.
Built to Beat the Clay Problem
Most rigs fail at one critical point: clay. When sticky, gold-bearing clay hits a standard sluice, it balls up and washes your values right out the end. The Kampala 2026-04 solves this with a feeder that includes a built-in classifier and high-pressure spray bars. Water blasts the clay apart, liberating even microscopic gold before the material ever reaches the sluice.
True Flexibility: Dredge + Shovel in the Same Setup
- Dredge Mode: The fixed dredge output on the feeder connects instantly to your suction hose. Walk into the water and pull material directly from the bottom.
Shovel Mode: Remove the suction hose, and the same feeder becomes a high -bank hopper. Shovel directly into the classifier.
- Simultaneous Operation? Yes. One person can dredge while another shovels tailings or bank-run material into the same unit. No downtime.
Engineered for 4 People – But Works for 1
The 2026-04 is rated for a team of four, but it respects the solo miner. One person can set up, run, and break down the entire rig alone. When the team is there, you process more, faster.
Sluice & Water Flow: Perfectly Matched
Many homemade rigs fail because the sluice is too short or the water is wrong. Not here.
- Sluice dimensions: 2.4 meters long x 40 cm wide
- Water source: Optimized for a standard WP-20 water pump (we can upgrade you to a better pump with price modification).
- Flow result: Perfect velocity to stratify material without blowing out fine gold.
Recovery Technology: Vortex + Miners’ Moss
The sluice comes pre-fitted with a special vortex matting (traps heavy minerals in micro-eddies) plus classic miners’ moss matting. This dual-layer system catches:
- Coarse nuggets
- Fine flour gold
- Black sand concentrates
Mobility That Matters
You don’t need a trailer or a tractor. The rig includes very mobile sawhorses to support the sluice and feeder. Rubber connectors and clamps hold everything firmly together, but you can knock it down in minutes.
Complete Hose Kit – Ready to Run
