This report details the gold prospecting activities that took place following the meeting at the Georgia Hotel. The purpose of these activities was to assess the presence of gold in 200 bags of rocks excavated from the shaft and mining land belonging to the professor.
Meeting in Georgia Hotel
A few days prior to October 26, 2024, just before gold prospector James Okedi was set to depart for the territory of Professor Magezi Kirigwajjo, a meeting took place at the Georgia Hotel in Kyebando. The attendees included intermediary Esther Muyizzi, Professor Magezi Kirigwajjo, Jean M. Louis—mentor and consultant for Start Your Own Gold Mine—and his wife.
During the meeting, the Professor explained that there were over 200 large bags available, with an expected gold grade of more than 2-3 grams per bag. Jean M. Louis suggested that it would be beneficial to process these bags at our facility in Kamusenene, Kassanda, where we have the necessary equipment.
Later, Jean M. Louis proposed sending James Okedi to verify the presence of gold in the contents of the 200 bags.
James Okedi, gold prospector
James Okedi has been associated with Start Your Own Gold Mine since 2017, when he began his work as a miner and gold prospector in Busia, Uganda. He is known for his integrity, strong teamwork skills, and a genuine willingness to support others. Additionally, he possesses a remarkable ability to identify gold in rocks through traditional manual techniques.
Report by James Okedi
James Okedi was on the site, have met all the people there who worked, the manager, and have made pictures of bags and have conducted thorough presence of gold in rocks.
Conclusion by James Okedi
There aren’t 100 large bags of rocks excavated; however, there are numerous small bags. According to his estimates, the volume of these small bags likely doesn’t amount to 200 large bags, but it could potentially reach up to 100 bags.
In conclusion, the efforts to verify the presence of gold in the analyzed rock samples yielded only a few positive results, highlighting the scarcity of gold deposits in this area. The limited instances of gold discovery—just 2-3 times—suggest that the prospecting efforts have not been fruitful enough to motivate further exploration or mining activities. Additionally, the lack of clear knowledge regarding the location of gold veins has left workers without a strategic direction, further diminishing their interest and efforts. Overall, while the prospect of finding gold remains intriguing, the current indications point towards a low likelihood of significant deposits, underscoring the challenges faced in gold prospecting endeavors in this region.

Conclusions and Recommendations
During the pre-travel meeting regarding the mining site, we received conflicting information stating that there were over 200 large bags on site. However, both the video evidence and James Okedi’s personal inspection revealed that the bags were actually small and far fewer in number, insufficient to approach the estimated volume of 200 bags.
Additionally, we were informed that each bag purportedly contained 3 grams of gold. In contrast, James Okedi’s findings indicate a very low presence of gold, with only a few particles discovered despite multiple attempts on site, making it unfeasible for profitable extraction.
To validate the gold presence with a larger sample, we would need to process around 10 large bags for a more accurate analysis.
We arrived at the site with the expectation of finding 200 bags and a significant amount of gold. Even a presence of 1 gram per bag would have been meaningful, but the current indications suggest otherwise, leading us to reconsider further investment for additional verification.
Given the discrepancies in the information provided during the meeting at the Georgia Hotel, we request that Professor Magezi reimbursement the company at least $300,000 to cover travel expenses, accommodation, and payments made to James Okedi.
