Neglected water hoses
The current state of the water hoses is deplorable, with trucks constantly driving over them and repeated repair attempts being made. We have decided against using the fragile blue soft hoses in our gold tailings processing operation due to their poor condition and frequent damage.
Instead, we will be utilizing 2-inch HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) pipes, which are more durable and offer less resistance when transferring water from one location to another. HDPE is a type of thermoplastic, a lightweight material commonly used in packaging and insulation, characterized by its ability to soften when heated and harden again when cooled. This makes it an ideal choice for our needs, providing a reliable and efficient solution for our water transfer requirements.
