Amy panning for gold
Gold Panning is a method of extracting and recovering small quantities of gold from natural deposits by hand in the field or at home.
The process involves sorting through sand, gravel, dirt, etc., to separate out particles that contain fine grains (gold). The most common tools used for this are sluice boxes which work like waterfalls where heavy metals sink while lighter materials float. Other methods include panning with a pan and using magnets.
Gold Panners can often find small amounts of gold in the wild or even at home, but it is very difficult to extract large quantities due to its low density compared to other minerals such as quartz. The process requires significant manual labor which makes some people prefer this method for finding smaller deposits.
