SYOGM GOLD EXPLORATION presents the SYOGM 2026-05 Trommel Wash Plant — a high-capacity, robust gold processing system designed for efficient throughput of 50 tonnes per hour. Built for the demanding conditions of African gold mining, this plant is available in multiple stationary and mobile configurations.

The plant is fed by an 8 inch or 10 inch water pump driven by a diesel engine. A 100 kW generator is recommended (generator is extra, separate of base pricing). The entire plant is mounted on heavy-duty steel skids with tow lugs for site mobility.

Detailed System Descriptions

Trommel Drum System

The 12-sided rotating trommel drum is the central separation unit. Constructed from 10 mm thick heavy-duty steel plate with an approximate 190 cm diameter, the drum rotates at adjustable speeds from 2–3 to 10 RPM to separate material by size as it tumbles within.

  • 12-sided drum for even material distribution and tumbling action
  • Internal scraper / lifter bars for material lifting and dropping
  • Variable speed drive matched to feed material conditions
  • Heavy-duty drive mechanism with protection guarding
  • Accessible inspection covers for maintenance

Hopper, Catch Tray & Waterworks

The formed hopper receives bulk material from excavator dumps and guides it into the trommel. It features reinforcing and a built-in spray bar for pre-washing, plus a formed catch tray with wear liner and a fabricated distribution chamber for even material spread.

  • Formed hopper with structural reinforcing
  • Built-in spray bar for pre-washing feed material
  • Fabricated distribution chamber for even trommel feed
  • Formed catch tray with 400F wear liner
  • Surge plates for flow control
  • 8" or 10" water inlet for feed pump

Conveyor System & Discharge Chutes

The 15 metre long conveyor with its 12.5 HP electric motor and 80 cm belt width is critical for keeping oversize material away from the plant. Long discharge chutes carry soil and slurry well away from the wash plant base, preventing erosion and accumulation of material around the plant footprint.

Without adequate conveyor length and discharge chutes, oversize rocks build up in front of the wash plant, creating a back-pressure pile that reduces feeding efficiency and can cause operational shutdowns. The long chutes ensure material is deposited away from the operating area.

  • 15 metre conveyor with 12.5 HP electric motor
  • 80 cm wide heavy-duty rubber belt
  • Truss-supported steel frame with tensioning
  • Long discharge chutes carrying material far from plant base
  • Prevents oversize rock accumulation in front of wash plant
  • Maintains clean excavator access for continuous feed

Gold Recovery System

The recovery system includes 12 or 14 sluice boxes each with a 4 metre run width, fitted with fine gold recovery matting. Specialized chutes direct fine gold-laden material into the sluice boxes for gravity separation.

  • 12 or 14 sluice boxes depending on configuration
  • 4 metre run width per sluice for maximum recovery surface
  • Fine gold recovery matting in all sluice boxes
  • Specialized fine gold capture chutes
  • Heavy-duty grate system for pre-separation grading
Pricing
Standard ConfigurationUS $66,000
Extended Configuration (+2.44m extension, dual excavator feeder)US $88,000
100 kW Generator (supply option)Available on request
Extended Configuration Option

The plant can be extended by 2.44 metres with a wider feeder area to allow two excavators to feed simultaneously.

  • Doubled feeding capacity — two excavators working together
  • Continuous material flow — no waiting for excavator cycle
  • Wider feeder opening — handles larger dumps without spillage
  • Extended discharge conveyor — material deposited further from plant base

Extended Configuration: US $88,000

Payment Terms & Manufacturing

Payment Plan

  • Initial Deposit: US $25,000 — due upfront to commence manufacturing
  • Subsequent Payments: US $10,000 each in installments as manufacturing milestones are reached — payments must follow without delay
  • Total: US $66,000 standard / US $88,000 extended

The manufacturing process requires a dedicated agent in Uganda who is quick on cash flow. Timely follow-up payments are essential to keep manufacturing moving — delays in payment mean delays in production.

Manufacturing Timeline

Estimated 2 months from receipt of initial deposit, subject to availability of parts and materials. Delays in parts supply will extend the schedule.
